Why ProShape Partnered with the Y of Central Maryland.
ProShape™ decided to partner with the Y of Central Maryland, which has been a leader in health and wellness for 150 years, for three reasons:
1. The Y of Central Maryland wants to be consistently exceptional. ProShape™ also pursues excellence in the work place, home, school, etc.
2. The Y of Central Maryland vision states “dedicated to developing the full potential of every individual through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.” ProShape™ believes that a balanced life consists of developing fully in each of these key areas: spiritual, mental, physical, and social.
3. The Y of Central Maryland has a program called Mission in Action which allows kids to participate in programs that they may not be able to afford. ProShape™ likes the fact that every athlete will have the opportunity to participate in my programs despite their financial disposition.
ProShapes programming will include the Ellicott City Family Center location. The state of the art facility includes an upper gym, fitness center, climbing wall, and group exercise studio. The center houses 60,000 square feet of health and wellness services and programs.
